What is Crop Replacement Insurance?
For $5.99/month, this optional add-on covers:
Crop failure due to extreme weather (e.g. hurricane, flooding)
Animal damage, pests, or unexpected disease
Plant loss from accidental damage by the client
If the damage is our fault (e.g. during a service visit), your crops will be replaced at no cost, no insurance needed.
Do I get to choose what I grow?
Absolutely. During your initial consultation, we’ll walk you through available heirloom and organic seed options tailored to your space, season, and goals. Our specialists will guide the selection based on what will thrive in your environment.
How often do I need to be involved?
As much or as little as you'd like!
We handle all the setup and planting. If you choose our maintenance plan, we provide weekly care and seasonal rotation. All you have to do is harvest when the crops are ready. If your garden is in a more sun-exposed area, we will let you know if additional watering is required between our weekly visits and what options work best.
What if I live in an apartment or have no yard?
We can set up any of our options on your balcony or landing! No balcony? Our Indoor hydroponic systems are built for that. They both run entirely indoors with no soil, using clean LED light and nutrient circulation. It's compact, mess-free, and perfect for apartments or condos.
How is pest control handled?
Your Cultivation Specialist will walk you through the best organic options. We never use commercial chemical pesticide or herbicide.
What happens if I need to cancel the maintenance plan?
You can cancel any time after the first 3 months. Any installed garden equipment is yours to keep.
What if something goes wrong with the system?
Equipment malfunction due to normal use is covered at no cost. We’ll replace any defective Rise Garden, irrigation parts, or grow bags. Human-caused damage may incur a fee unless you're enrolled in Crop Replacement Insurance.
Will the person coming to my home be vetted and safe?
Yes. Every Cultivation Specialist on our team has passed a comprehensive 50-state and federal background check. We take your personal safety and trust seriously. Each team member is professionally trained, clearly identified, and scheduled in advance.
